Shutting unlicensed cosmetic warehouse in Jeddah, FDA

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (FDA) ordered an unlicensed warehouse in Jeddah closed and seized 144,000 packages of cosmetic products, it said on its Twitter account.

The warehouse stored cosmetic products.

FDA summoned the owner of the facility, completing legal procedures against him, the FDA also said.

Recently, authorities have been vigorously cracking down on illegal businesses and those dealing with fake items. Earlier this month, they closed a business in Makkah for dealing with fake tires and lubricants used in automobiles.
