Saudi Army Joins Official Efforts in Combating Coronavirus

The Saudi military has joined the official authorities’ efforts in combating the new coronavirus by helping in setting up mobile hospitals in various cities.

The medical services in the armed forces have started to set up mobile hospitals to support the health ministry’s preemptive and prevention measures, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The mobile hospitals are supplied with advanced equipment and medical teams that can handle the outbreak.

Other military efforts include the early detection of the virus and filtering cases before they are admitted to main hospitals.

As of Saturday, Saudi Arabia has registered 344 virus patients, 16 of whom have recovered.
