More than 800,000 Umrah pilgrims arrive in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced today that as many as 1,050,665 Umrah visas were issued until the end of the 12th day of this month, and accordingly a total of 838,464 pilgrims arrived in the Kingdom, while there are 298,002 Umrah performers already inside the Kingdom.

In a statistical statement, the ministry said that 806,251 Umrah performers from different nationalities entered by air, 32,210 by land and only three persons by sea.

The statistics recorded the departure back home of 540,462 pilgrims.
